Mara Vorhees is a travel writer who writes mainly for Lonely Planet. She has penned dozens of guidebook editions to destinations as diverse as Belize, Costa Rica, Finland, and Russia, as well as her home in New England. She often travels with her twin boys in tow; she blogs about their adventures and misadventures at Have Twins, Will Travel (www.havetwinswilltravel.com). Most recently, she teamed up with her husband Gerald Easter to write the narrative nonfiction The Tsarina's Lost Treasure, a true story of art history, political intrigue and maritime adventure.
