Henry Parry

born in Liverpool, England in 1927. My first desire was to be a vet, an animal Doctor,it turned out that the Vet I became was from my service in the R A F. During my youth I met several nice girls and later women but a touch of shyness kept me from any prolonged associations and I am to-day still a batchelor. I am not as fierce as my picture would seem to indicate. Most of my career was in the Office Machine Repair field. One day I read an article in a magazine about a heart transplant and my vivid imagination took over and "The Shared Heart" resulted. Basically a quiet person I do have definite ideas as to the solutions to to-days problems in our sad society. In my spare time I enjoy coloured pencil drawing, cross-stiching, rug hooking, gardening, travel, golf, bowling and painting miniture chalk-made houses. In my home on the golf course overlooking a lake my cat Agatha and I thoroughly enjoy Christmas, with a tree decorated with lights and ornaments. With lights around the house and reindeer on the lawn we are taken back to our childhood memories of Christmases past, which keeps me young in heart. In the future I hope to publish a book of thoughts, ideas, notions, and comments on a variety of subjects. There will be some poetry in it along with some short stories which I hope readers will enjoy. When I used the title "The Shared Heart" I had no idea that it had already been used by other authors. If I had known I would have changed it. This is a story about two people a man and a women and the most unusual circumstances that were to challenge them. They did live "happily ever after".
