John Potts

John Potts is Professor of Media at Macquarie University, Sydney. He has published eight books, including The New Time and Space; A History of Charisma; the edited collection The Future of Writing; Culture and Technology (co-authored with Andrew Murphie); and After the Event: New Perspectives on Art History (co-edited with Charles Merewether). He is a founding editor of the online journal Scan Journal of Media Arts Culture. He has published many essays and articles on contemporary culture, digital technology, media, art and intellectual history.
