Eleanor Thom

Eleanor Thom grew up in London to parents of Scottish, Jewish and Scottish Traveller heritage. Twenty years ago, she returned to Scotland where she writes, cares for family, and works in research and community arts. She was awarded the Saltire Award for First Book of the Year, and the New Ventures Writing Award, and appeared on BBC TV’s The Culture Show as one of the best new novelists in 2010.
