Sam Brier

Sam Brier is the director of Academic Experiences Abroad (www.AEAstudyabroad.com), which specializes in customized educational programs in roughly 100 countries. Between 1995 and 2009, Sam lived in Japan [JET Program], China, Laos, Thailand, Vietnam and Australia as a teacher and student. He has spent significant time in other parts of Asia, the South Pacific, Europe and Central America. He was born in Houston, TX, and currently lives in Portland, OR, with his wife (co-author of Instant Vietnamese) and two wild and crazy boys.
