Nicholas Taylor is a New Testament scholar and an Anglican priest. He is an honorary Fellow of New College, the School of Divinity in the University of Edinburgh, and Canon Theologian of Mutare Cathedral in Zimbabwe. He has taught in the Universities of Cape Town and Swaziland, Africa University, Ripon College Cuddesdon, King's College London, and the Theological Institute of the Scottish Episcopal Church/Scottish Episcopal Institute. While serving in pastoral ministry in Scotland, he has also been Convener of the Doctrine and Liturgy Committees of the Scottish Episcopal Church. His PhD is from the University of Durham, supervised by James D. G. Dunn, and he also holds degrees from the Universities of Cape Town and Oxford.
