Tom Shakespeare

Tom has worked as a play therapist, parliamentary researcher, fire-eater, printer and theatre administrator, but is best known as an academic, at London School of Hygiene and Tropical Medicine. He also contributes to Radio 4 and Radio 3, most often through the "A Point of View" programme. He has written more than 10 books of disability research, but The Ha-ha is the first time that laughter is the intentional outcome. He is keen on cooking, his grand-daughter and commas.
