Gordon Brown

Morgan Cry (Gordon Brown) has fourteen crime and thriller books published to date, along with a novella and a number of short stories. His latest book is called ‘Dark Accords’, and is the first in a new historical crime series set in Scotland in 1662.

Also out is ‘The Fracture’, the second in the Blake Glover crime series set in and around Blake’s childhood home town of Fraserburgh. The first book in the Blake Glover series, ‘The Cost’, is available in paperback and eBook.

Gordon is a founding director of Bloody Scotland, Scotland’s International Crime Writing Festival and lives in Scotland (although he can often be found in Spain). He is married with two children.

In a former life Gordon delivered pizzas in Toronto, sold non-alcoholic beer in the Middle East, launched a creativity training business, floated a high tech company on the London Stock Exchange, compered the main stage at a two-day music festival and was once booed by 49,000 people while on the pitch at a major football Cup Final.
