Kate Cory-Wright

Kate Cory-Wright is a prize-winning author and a freelance English Language Teaching (ELT) Consultant. She has published more than 25 ELT books, ranging from primary to adult, with a focus on CLIL (Content and Language Integrated Learning), technology, and Life Skills in more recent years.

Kate Cory-Wright is sole author of the course book "Our World" (Student Book, Level 4), which won the prestigious English-Speaking-Union Duke of Edinburgh Award for: Best Entry for Learners. Our World 4 was also shortlisted for the highly acclaimed British Council ELTons award in 2014.

For the past 25 years, Kate Cory-Wright has delivered over 500 academic seminars, workshops and short courses on a wide range of professional ELT topics. These teacher training events were delivered in a total of 27 countries, in regions as diverse as Latin America, the Middle East, Europe, and Asia. She is an associate consultant for ELT-Consultants and a faculty member of iTDi (International Teacher Development Institute). Her consultancy includes work with Ministries of Education.
