William E. George

My career as a Senior Marine Cargo Surveyor with National Cargo Bureau, Inc. started full time in 1981 and has allowed me to follow my interests in the areas of Ship's Stability and Trim, Cargo Operations and HAZMAT as well as Training and Instruction. I retired from NCB on Sept. 1, 2019,

I am the author of Stability and Trim for the Ship's Officer, 4th Edition., 2005, as well as the 3rd Edition, 1983, which is a United States Coast Guard License Exam Reference Ship's Officers in the United States.

I like activities that allow me to gather information and then analyze it. I like to create systems that organize my world so that there is a process that governs all activity. I enjoy spending their time managing the details that enable people and organizations function seamlessly.

When working with other people, I am fair and democratic and always can be counted on to deliver what I commit to.
