'A Headbanger's Ball - Real Family Life with a Disabled Daughter', was my first book, and was written with love in memory of my little Amberlie.
Having written about Amberlie, the writing bug took hold and I felt I would like to have a go at crafting a fantasy fiction novel, which was something I had thought about doing since childhood. I have always loved stories of wizards and witches, faeries and sprites and all the wonderful traditional fairytales and that was how 'Withercraft: The Obsidian Box', a fantasy adventure for all the family, came about. It is the result of my interest in all things magical, mystical, legendary and anything steeped in folklore. I am also an artist painting an eclectic range of subjects, and a Tarot card reader in partnership as 'The Druid & The Dragon Tarot' with my son, Ray. I spent many years as a Teaching Assistant and now I run a Breakfast and After School Club at our local junior school. I love walking my three dogs and spending as much time in Cornwall as possible. I am currently working on a murder mystery set in the early 1900s, which I am probably far too excited about!
