David Milne

I (David Milne) was born in 1964 in Foresterhill hospital in Aberdeen, which in some ways was a home coming as my mother had once lived on a small market garden called Silverhillock, which was by this time the site of (or very nearly) the nurses home while my father was a hill farmer in Morayshire. I have written for many years, mainly rubbish, and mainly for my own interest until something happened in my neighbourhood and I felt compelled to tell people about it in a way that could not be erased. So I wrote "Blinded by the Bling??".

My own influences are Iain Banks, both incarnations, and Terry Pratchett, or Sir Terry Pratchett as that should be, along with most anything else. I read Piers Anthony, Scarlett Thomson, Clive Cussler, Shakespeare and Julius Jaynes not to forget John Ridley & John Channing. In other words if it's in print I'll read it!!

My own work varies from factual to fiction to pure guesswork and is not always as serious as it may seem, please feel free to contact me if you want to chat or sometimes even a good rant is welcome.
