Angela Joy Chapman

It is with much surprise and joy that I find myself as a new author at the age of 68. Writing comes out of a wealth of experience that needs an outlet. It is a blessing to have an outlet for all that God has shown me through the years.

Having been born of a Navy family, I was blessed to see a lot of the world until my father settled in Hawaii after his military retirement. Four beautiful children later, we packed up all our belongings in 8 boxes and headed to the Northwest, hoping for more prosperity.

Sometimes we are fortunate that God reveals what needs revealing for our hearts to be healed. After years of asking the question, "Why am I here?", I sat down to share my journey. That became my first book, He Knows My Name.

Writing became much more of a joy to me through that process. Occasionally something new and inspiring will prompt me to add to my blog at angelajoychapman.com.

My hope is that what I have to say has meaning to the women of the world who feel like life wasn't what they expected it to be. Whether you have suffered abuse, neglect, trauma or pain, God has a plan, and when we let that plan be fulfilled, life becomes an awesome adventure. Discovering your identity, the way God sees you and created you to be, gives you a destiny and a purpose known only in Heaven.

We each of us were put on this planet for a profound purpose. Every journey is different and I intend to continue to share my discoveries. Perhaps that will prompt you to find your purpose. That would make it all worthwhile.
