Stanley A. Plotkin

Stanley A. Plotkin, MD, an Elsevier Author, is an emeritus professor of the Wistar Institute at the University of Pennsylvania and a consultant to Sanofi Pasteur. He was responsible for the development of the rubella vaccine, which is now used worldwide and has worked extensively on the development and application of other vaccines including polio, rabies, varicella, rotavirus and cytomegalovirus.
