L. A. Hudson

Ms. Hudson is a native of Chicago and resides in the city's Austin community with her family. She explains that she has been writing for many years for enjoyment and had not previous considered publishing her works but after the urgings of family and friends eventually decided to do so. When asked about her interest in the occult genre Ms. Hudson had this to say, "As an African-American author often times I was disappointed not seeing many characters in fiction that I could relate to. Therefore, I began creating my own. It was only in the last few years that I began to wonder if there could possibly be others out there that shared my dilemma." Ms. Hudson also explained that growing up she enjoyed supernatural classics such as Carrie and The Exorcist, which are still her favorites.

By day Ms. Hudson is a virtual assistant but says during her down time she still finds time to enjoy her favorite past time of writing. "My next work will be sequels to many of the short stories in Shadowrealm and a new novel is also in the works."
