Gareth Owens

Gareth Owens born in London as a Celtic Cockney, has spent an awkward life falling out of trees and off motorcycles. A lover of languages, he has an honours (it's not a spelling mistake, it's English) degree from the University of London in dead tongues so obscure that one of them is only known through the books of another dead culture.

He became a writer of short-fiction because that's what he knew and loved. The peer-reviewed science journal Nature has printed several of his short stories, including one in Nature: Physics.

He lives under a huge Yew-tree in Kent with a one eyed cat called Freddy, where he drinks too much coffee and makes stuff up. The result of which is

"Fun with Rainbows"
