Michael Thomas Barry

Michael Thomas Barry is the critically acclaimed and award-winning author of eight nonfiction books that include California's Deadly Women (2018) and In the Company of Evil Thirty Years of California Crime 1950-1980 (2016). He has made several television appearances that include Investigation Discovery Channel's "Deadly Women" and "True Nightmares" series, as well as PBS SoCal's "Real Orange." His numerous literary awards include the 2011 & 2014 Readers' Favorite International Book Awards (silver & gold medals), 2013 Beverly Hills Book Awards (winner), and 2017 Independent Publishers Book Awards (bronze).

Michael is a former columnist for CrimeMagazine.com and is a staff reviewer for The New York Journal of Books. He is a member of the Mystery Writers of America, The Authors Guild, and the International Federation of Journalists.
