Born in Atlanta, Georgia, and growing up on a rolling farm near the foothills of the Great Smoky Mountains in Franklin, North Carolina, Beth W. Vinson used writing to escape the mental tortures of an abusive husband at an early age and turned to the creative side of her imagination to create vivid renditions of poems, short stories, then finally, the publication of Fiction and Non-Fiction works. With a home now in Coastal Virginia surrounded by water, that environment provided the calming effect needed to write more often and let the creative side begin to take control. Her latest book, The First of Forever, came from a time of self-healing, discovery, and learning from another man what real love can be when it’s the perfect union between two people. Once in a lifetime, the right person kindles a fire unlike anything you can describe, and from that, you emerge like a Phoenix from the ashes to learn to live and love again. Beth has written and published two other books, To Hell and Beyond, and From Metal to Flesh, but this collection of love poems was written many years ago, and only now has she decided to share them with the world.
Beth presently works as the President/CEO of her own SWaM-certified company, Origami Software Solutions, handling Department of Defense, Commercial, and Municipal contracts. She is single and currently lives in Norfolk, Virginia.
