John Kinter was born in Sewickley, Pennsylvania in 1964, the first child of the Martha and late Gene Kinter. John graduate from high Scool in 1982 and spent more than ten active duty years in the military and retired in 2006 from the National Guard as a Sergeant First Class.
His first self published book, Paradise Confined, Prison Island, at the end of 2009. His second and third self published novels, Without Conscious and Dreamweaver were published by the way of Amazon.com's Create Space at the beginning of 2011. In 2014, he published A Matter of Survival, a story using his two grand daughters as the central characters in the story. 2015 brought about two more novels, Tropical Rush and Jaded Heart. He has a several more novels that are ready to publish.
He has also published the following short stories: The Card, A penny For Your Thoughts, Claude's Christmas Story, Cabin Fever, and the Basement with many more on the way. All of these titles can be found on Amazon.com
In addition, John has written an article for the Herald-Star in Steubenville, Ohio.
John currently resides in Toronto, Ohio with his fiancee, Jamie, and five of their eight kids and an assortment of pets. He also enjoys visits with his three grandchildren.
