Ted Gournelos

Ted Gournelos earned his Ph.D. in Communications and M.F.A. in Sculpture from the University of Illinois, Urbana-Champaign and his MBA from the Crummer Graduate School of Business. His research focus is on marketing, culture, media (especially animation), technology, and politics. He is a frequent expert guest on television, radio, web, and print media, and was featured in 2013 as a speaker at TED Global in Edinburgh, Scotland.

Ted is currently an Associate Professor of Communications at Old Dominion University, where he teaches courses in strategic communications, emerging media, and social entrepreneurship.
