Dragos Roua was born in Romania, in a town called Ramnicu Valcea, in the center of the country. After finishing high-school, he moved to Bucharest where he went to college. He finished the University of Bucharest with a degree in French Literature.

After that, he worked as a radio host for 7 years. At some point, around his thirties, he decided to start his own company. The founding was easy, even if there was no money around: he used the 3F technique: family, friends and fools. After going with his company through all the 7 stages of a business, he decided it's time to sell. Which he did, for a profit.

After he sold his company, Dragos' new project was his personal development blog at http://www.dragosroua.com. In a very short time the blog become quite popoular, being visited by tens of thousands every month.

Many of his books are inspired by articles initially published there.
