Bryan Smillie

Bryan Smillie is a graduate of the University of Western Ontario and the University of Toronto. He is a recently retired teacher and counselor with over thirty years experience working with young people from kindergarten to pre-college and university. He continues to teach and counsel part-time at both the elementary and secondary school levels. He also has his own private counseling practise. "A Time for Evron"(www.atimeforevron.com) has won the Elementary Teachers' Federation of Ontario Writer's Award, the Canadian Children's Book Centre Choice Award, and has been accepted into the prestigious International Children's Digital Library (ICDL) at the University of Maryland.(www.icdlbooks.org) Most recently, parts of A Time for Evron have been included in a new elementary school reader for the 5000 elementary schools in Singapore.
