Dr. Ayo Sekai is a political linguist, scholar, and academic publisher whose research advances Black political thought, language theory, and institutional knowledge production. She earned a PhD in Political Science from Howard University, with specializations in Black Politics and International Relations. She holds a master’s degree from the University of South Florida (ISLAC) and a bachelor’s degree in English from Buffalo State University. Her scholarship focuses on linguistic imperialism, examining language as a governing technology that shapes public policy, legislative discourse, and political legitimacy. Sekai is the originator of the Poetical Science Discourse Method, introduced in A2: A Scholarly Poetical Science Discourse, which formalizes poetry as a primary data-generating method integrated with theoretical and socio-political analysis.
