Reyna Gobel, M.B.A., M.J., M.P.H., is a journalist, keynote speaker, course instructor, curriculum developer, and advocate for personal finance and immune system education.
Her work has been published in Money Magazine, Experian, Today, Yahoo! Finance, Reuters, Harvard Public Health Magazine, Fodor’s Travel, and US News & World Report. Since the first edition of Graduation Debt, Reyna has been quoted by over 500 publications, including The Boston Globe, Real Simple, and The New York Times.
The first two editions of Graduation Debt were picked as the financial book of the month by Michelle Singletary in The Washington Post.
As an advocate, she has spoken online or in person to more than 500 alumni associations, student money management offices, and college and high school counselors.
She is also a health researcher and student completing her third master’s in public health nutrition as of December 2023. She decided to return to school to complete her degree after volunteering more than 300 days during COVID and seeing how nutrition was a factor in many of the comorbidities that contributed to the number of people who died. The 30-Day Precision Nutrition Challenge is her empowerment course, co-created with Lynnette Kahalfani-Cox, Earl Cox, Lis Halfpapp, and Fred DeVito, is to help individuals find what foods might impact their individual weight loss, allergies, and digestive symptoms so they can ask better questions of their doctors.
Fun Fact: Reyna is developing a dog travel show with her pup Woof Woof called Woof Woof Travels. He was a special guest of the country of Finland to meet Santa Claus.
