After 25 years in the financial industry, Carin is a pro at advising her clients about building wealth and meeting financial goals. But it was her passion for helping women successfully navigate the tricky waters of divorce turned that her into a specialist...and then into an author.

Carin is a Certified Divorce Financial Planner (one of very few in the country), making her an expert in the ins and outs of financial issues that arise in the divorce process. She's helped hundreds of women survive this massive life transition through her guidance, education, empowerment and the practical tools they need to succeed.

Carin holds a bachelor's degree in Economics from Gustavus Adolphus College and lives in Lakeville, MN, with her husband Russ. Her two sons are off to college, while dog Buddy holds down the fort at home.
