Fay Jacobs is a native New Yorker, spent 30 years in the Washington, DC area working in journalism, theater and public relations. She has contributed feature stories and columns to such publications as The Advocate, OutTraveler, The Washington Post, The Washington Blade, The Wilmington News Journal, Delaware Beach Life and more.

Fay Jacobs is the author of six hilarious memoirs about her beloved hometown Rehoboth Beach, DE. She is also traveling with her one-woman show Aging Gracelessly: 50 Shades of Fay. Called "the last comic sitting" by critics and a sit-down comic by fans, she has performed on an Olivia Cruise, at the famed Duplex Cabaret in Greenwich Village, and in East Coast cities from Cape Cod (P-Town) to Florida (Sarasota and St. Pete). Fay is published by Bywater Books. She and Bonnie, her partner of 42 years, and wife of 12 years relocated to Rehoboth Beach, DE in 1999. They are aging in place on the boardwalk or on a bar stool in Rehoboth and they spend most of their time spoiling their mini-schnauzer Windsor.
