Barbara Murphy is a best-selling author, successful communications professional, and copywriter who has worked for Swiss Re, Sika, Robeco, and other large multinational companies and media agencies.
From 2008 to 2009, Murphy wrote the weekly City Girl column in The London Paper - the same slot as the hugely popular City Boy column that led to Geraint Anderson's best-selling book just as Lehman Brothers went bankrupt. Her book, "Confessions of a City Girl" (Virgin Books, August 2009) is a UK Sunday Times bestseller, and has been translated into German and Polish. Murphy graduated with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Economics and Music from Colgate University in 2004.
