Roger Stennett

I am a writer for Film, TV, Theatre, Radio and Animation. I also teach creative writing and screenwriting, to postgraduate level, at several universities.

I started writing as a Poet in the late 1960's, and a collection "Just a Matter of Time" sometimes comes up on Amazon. I also published in magazines and became involved in poetry tours reading my own work.

My first stage play was professionally produced in London in 1979. Since then I have written for theatres all over the UK, including the Royal Shekespeare Company, Bristol Old Vic, The Royal Exchange and Nottingham Playhouse.

I have written several commissioned radio plays for BBC Radio 4.

My Animation work has been produced by companies all over the world, including Disney.

My television and film work includes both drama and comedy.

At the time of writing this ( April 2010 ) I am working on three Film projects : "Paradox Road", " Mr 100%" and "Beginners Please".

I am also a practising Psychotherapist and Aikido Black Belt & Instructor.
