Al Huba

Al Huba was born in 1940 just north of Pitsburgh, Pa. Always yearning to be a game warden in Alaska he embarked on his adventure by driving there in March of 1966. After waiting impatiently Al realized his dream in 1969 when he was hired as a warden for the Alaska Dept.of Fish and Game. After 3 adventure- filled years Al reluctantly left the dept. because of internal corruption.

Disallusioned, he left Ak. for a year's hiatus in Colorado. Upon returning to Ak. Al was hired as a technician for British Petroleum on the Alaskan Pipeline.It was there that Al's life took an abrupt and permanent turn. In that bleak and frozen environment he found the warmth of His Savior's love and soon sensed the call of God on his life. After graduating from Western Pa. Bible School in 1981 he received a BA in Theology from Clarksville School of Theology, a Master's Degree in Theology from Vision University and a Doctorate in Counseling Psychology from Cornerstone Univ.

Since then Al has pastored 6 churches and directed 3 counseling centers in Ak.,Pa.,and Fl. He is now starting a new church in Apopka, Fl. Al,s passion is to train and equip the church for effective ministry as well as disciple new believers.Al is president of Kingdom Equippers Int'l., an organization formed to facilitate his passion.He lives in Minneola, Fl.,with his wife, Brenda, and 2 of their 7 children.
