I am a 40 year old, married, mother of three children. I've spent two decades now in various jobs: cooking donuts at a grocery store deli; washing and waxing monorails at the 'Happiest Place on Earth'; writing and editing news content at a local television station and currently I'm an administrative assistant in the Production division of another local/statewide tv station where I also write news for a current events program that we produce.

Never did I dream of writing a book. Seriously, not once in my life did I dream that I could put together a work of fiction, especially not in the world of romance. Yet here I am now, with a romance novel, actually published!

A few years ago I fell in love with a pre-teen music trilogy that aired on cable and the final chapter aired in theaters. I saw that final chapter, featuring lead characters named Troy and Gabriella, 14 times in the theater. My children only saw it three times with me. The relationship between those teen characters, and their off-screen actor/actress counterparts, inspired me. I've always been a romantic at heart, and their friendship and romance inspired me.

The inspiration was overwhelming. It made me want to do more. It made me want a deeper connection with my husband and my children. And it made me want to share that feeling of pure romantic love with others. So I began to write. That's where the story "Scenarios: Hawaii" was born.

Then, when my father's health declined and I needed a desperate escape to something uplifting, I continued to write. Again and again I turned to their young romance and the inspiration they had given my life. When Dad died, my "Scenarios" story came to life. It's become a dream come true.

Now, I'm still caught up in that trilogy and consider myself a 'crazed fan'. But I'm also a fan of my family with a strong belief in God. Without Him I would not have found the inspiration to write. Without Him I wouldn't have a family. Without Him there wouldn't be love or romance. Without Him I wouldn't be blessed with this opportunity.

Watch for His signs...you never know when the opportunity might be put in front of you!
