Paul Spackman

Born in Richmond, Middlesex, UK , in 1960, I studied History with English in Winchester, gaining my BA (Hons) in 1982.

Since 2018 I have been working hard on a fresh, ground-breaking biography, 'David Lloyd George: Welsh Radical, World Statesman', now to be published by Barnthorn Publishing in 2025. David Lloyd George is vastly misjudged, underrated and shamefully neglected in the UK, and it is time to put this right!

I have completed a major revision, expansion and updating of my 2008 biography, 'God's Candidate', published by Gracewing, now translated into Italian as 'Il Candidato di Dio' with a new Preface and Epilogue, to be published by Antiga Edizioni in 2025.
