Stefani Deoul

Stefani Deoul is the author of the award-winning, YA series, the Sid Rubin Silicon Alley Adventures, (On A LARP, Zero Sum Game) as well as the Women's Fiction novel The Carousel. Stefani has written for numerous publications, including, Curve magazine, Outdoor Delaware and Letters from CAMP Rehoboth, penned both short stories and film and television treatments. As a television producer her resume includes TV series such as Haven for the SyFy Network, The Dead Zone and Brave New Girl, Dresden Files and Missing.

Since its publication in 2017, On A LARP has won numerous awards including being named DPA's (Delaware Press Association) Young Adult Fiction Book of the Year along with an IPPY Award for Multicultural Fiction - Juvenile/Young Adult. Stefani's earlier work, The Carousel was a finalist for the Foreword Reviews Independent Publishing Award in Gay and Lesbian Fiction, the Bronze Winner of the National Federation of Press Women Book of the Year for Fiction, the 2011 Book of the Year from the Delaware Press Association, and a Regional IPPY Award for Fiction from the Independent Publishers Association.

Along with producing five seasons of Haven, based on the Stephen King story The Colorado Kid, Stefani finally succumbed to the allure of acting, “starring” as the off camera, and uncredited, radio dispatcher, Laverne.
