Karol Hansen

There are those who say Karol grew up in darkness. This darkness was lifted when God sent a woman who told her of the risen Savior. During her journey to know Jesus, God sent another woman to encourage her to "go do that thing," a task the LORD had placed in Karol's heart along the way. And so she did -- in 2003 she started Encourage A Child which ministers to hurting and lonely children in Southern California.

Karol has a powerful testimony of redemption and restoration. She has spoken to audiences in person and across the airwaves through radio, sharing her testimony and the gospel to all ages. She is a published opinion and book author. She is dynamic, vivacious and clearly has the gift of encouragement.

As wife, mother and Sunday school teacher, Karol lives in Southern California and divides her time among many activities including: hiking, flying, traveling and reading.
