Jeffrey Kern

Jeffrey D. Kern is an award-winning author and writer. In 2010, Jeffrey was nominated for National Indie Excellence Book Award Finalist in the category of Business. Working professionally as a writer since 2000, Jeffrey has written for magazines, websites, and has, at one time, held the position of Senior Associate Editor for Widescreen Review Magazine, a national monthly home theater magazine. Although he no longer works for Widescreen Review, he takes a life filled with amazing and interesting experiences and incorporates them into his writing. In addition to co-authoring "The Garage Sale Millionaire," Mr. Kern has written on many different subjects including consumer electronics, home theater, computers, travel, various human interest topics as well as writing 1000’s of product descriptions for his online toy and collectibles business.

Jeffrey brings his collecting expertise to "The Garage Sale Millionaire" as he has been an avid collector since the 1970s. Like many children who begin the hunt for collectible treasures early in life, Jeffrey discovered his passion for treasure hunting by collecting coins. His love and passion for collecting at an early age helped him develop and hone his interests and abilities in the hobby and business of collecting. Jeffrey’s life-long passion for collecting has allowed him to be a seasoned and experienced collector as well allowing him to grow into the successful toy and collectibles business owner that he is today. Today, Jeffrey actively seeks out and collects all types of pop culture memorabilia, movie and television memorabilia, autographed books, CDs, statues, art, antiques, action figures, toys, magazines, books, and more.

Besides searching out the perfect coffeehouse to experience and enjoy a truly wonderful cup of coffee, Jeffrey absolutely loves the hunt to find treasure and he’s always looking for that next, great collectible!
