I'm a 73 year-old grandmother, married to a Baptist pastor/theologian for 53 years. We have 3 children and 7 grandchildren, all Christians.
I've been writing Christian poetry for 35 years and have had many poems published in a variety of American Christian magazines. A CHRISTIAN IN LONDON AND PARIS is my first book. I wrote it after two holidays spent in cities I love and have been visiting on and off all my adult life. Wander around London and Paris with me and my husband John, see where we went, what we saw, what we ate, where we worshipped, and what I thought, as a Christian, about everything. It's not a travel book but certainly conveys the essence of these fascinating cities. It's an enjoyable and challenging read. Every poem has a Christian message and I have had good feedback from Christians and non Christians alike. A good gift book also, I think.

At present I'm working on my second book of collected poems, almost half of which have appeared in magazines. I also write Christian choral music and am hoping to publish that too. I trained as a pianist. When I started writing poetry after a traumatic experience, I did a degree in English because I knew very little about poetry!

This is from Elize Fourie, Librarian of the Baptist Theological College, South Africa. She writes:
"Although the Library of the Baptist Theological College does not have a "Christian literature" section I am definitely going to add it to our Library under the Spiritual Growth section. I've read some of your poems and think they are wonderful. When seeing that I can listen to poems read by yourself I was even more excited because as you said, it IS good to hear a poet/author read his/her own work. Listened to it I did and enjoyed it tremendously."
