Tom S. Clark

Tom Clark is a professor of political science at Stanford University. He is a scholar of American politics with an interest in the non-democratic uses and consequences of democratic political institutions. His research interests are in the political economy of judicial politics, policing and public safety, as well as applied formal theory and statistical methodology. Prior to joining Stanford, he was the David and Mary Winton Green Professor of Political Science at the University of Chicago and the Charles Howard Candler Professor of Political Science at Emory University.
