Hello, my name is Hazel and I live in beautiful Edinburgh with my son and a mad cat called Baby who has a penchant for used T-bags.

"Bree McCready and the Half Heart Locket" was my debut novel (published by Strident Publishing, August 2009). It's a fast-paced adventure story which has been described as a cross between Indiana Jones and Jacqueline Wilson. It's aimed at aged 9+ but is getting excellent reviews from children and adults too! The sequel, "Bree McCready and the Flame of Irenus" was published in November 2010. Book three is under way!
