I'm an author of "How to" books for musicians. My first book Gig-Getter: How to Get More Gigs than you can play, was aimed at gigging semi-pro and amateurs and has been used by bands and solo artists in more than 17 countries around the world. I've written musician articles for Future Publishing's Total Guitar, Bass Guitar Magazine and numerous online publications.

I'm an active musician who's played regularly at venues like the Hard Rock Cafe and have my own marketing business advising a number of leading independent companies in Europe.

In my spare time away from a young family, I grit my teeth and watch the mighty Everton F.C
