Michael D. Young

Michael D. Young writes family-friendly fantasy, humorous adventures, devotionals, and music history. Start with A Wonderful Day for a Quest, or jump into Death/Wish, Book 1 of the Refried Trilogy. He also publishes picture books as David Michaels.

He is the author of A Wonderful Week for a Quest, The Last Archangel Series, The Chess Quest Series, The Canticle Chronicles, and the Penultimate Dawn Cycle, plus nonfiction including An Advent Carols Countdown, Sacred Days, Sacred Songs, O Say, Can You Sing?, The Song of the Righteous, and The Song of the Saints.

Michael grew up traveling the world with a military family and now lives in Utah with his wife, Jen, and their three children. He creates online curriculum for Brigham Young University, acts in community theater, and has sung with the Tabernacle Choir at Temple Square since 2010.
