Mark Gee

Mark Gee was born in 1962 in Huddersfield, England in 1962, now happily married with two grown up children. He lives in Coventry with his wife Joanna. He is a committed Christian, Biker, Black Belt Kickboxer, Writer of Novels and Screenplays, Multiple Business Owner and Adventure Seeker.

He says: 'Writing is something I have always aspired to be proficient at, ever since I picked up my first book as a small boy and entered the marvellous world of fiction.

So enthralled was I by such books as 'The Call of the Wild' and 'Beau Geste'; and by the adventure they all too willingly took me on, that as a young sixteen year old I wandered off into the world to seek my own.

I found my adventures in many places, including the Merchant Navy and the Spanish Foreign Legion, but mostly by pursuing a Faith that initially found me in the most unexpected of places. (My autobiography 'The Spanish Foreign Legion' will tell you more about this if you wish to know)

I have drawn heavily on those influences, and more, to find my 'voice' in my writing, and I feel no shame in stating that I write books I would want to read myself.

I still seek adventure wherever I can find it, physical, psychological or spiritual, it is all worthwhile, and I hope to continue doing so until the day I die. I hope you enjoy what I have created, and I pray that in some small way your life is brightened and your faith deepened by my books.'
