Barbara Schnell

Barbara Schnell has dedicated her life to full-time employment avoidance. She's been an actress (and is still a member of SAG), renovated a 1921 California bungalow, set a cash-winning record on $25,000 Pyramid, and came in last on Jeopardy. Barbara has just had a short story published in an anthology and is a six-time winner of the Southern California Writers' Association "Will Write For Food" flash-fiction contest. Barbara lives in Los Angeles with her patient husband and two cats.

First Year is Barbara's debut novel. For the complete reviews go to Barbara's website at www.barbaraschnell.com. Barbara and her husband, Gordon, published an epistolary memoir, Greetings from Casa Cesspool. Her second novel, Marianne Moves On, won the 2020 National Indie Excellence Award for Chick Lit.
