David Riche(1938- was born in Cricklewood London, where he lived through the bombing of the second world war. He followed his parents into the Haute Coiffure and beauty business of fashionable London, making a career change into consumer electronics with the arrival of Japanese products in the 1960's, spending the next thirty years at the forefront of design, marketing and selling all over the world and taking retirement. His willingness to help others in the early days of internet particularly fantasy artists encouraged him to build websites to incorporate their work. His observations were seized upon by publishers as the new millennium approached for emerging artists and a new genre of Fairy and fantasy art. Affectionately called the Fairy Godfather he has tirelessly championed the cause to see acceptance, careers blossom, festivals to celebrate the beauty of mother earth and to fight the cause to prevention destruction of the environmental and endangered species. He is married to famous British Fairy Artist Myrea Pettit author of 500 Fairy Motifs, well known for her detailed diminutive fairies,little people,flowers and butterflies.
