Sandra, S. Newman

Sandra Newman grew up in Island Falls, Maine. She was a professor of Fashion Art in Boston, Massachusetts before she moved to Taos, New Mexico and discovered her love of story telling and photography. With her first major book, Life and Time on Pleasant Pond, she has discovered a way to weave history, with memories, and stories of residents' living in a magical place in Northern Maine, Pleasant Pond, Island Falls.
