Keanan Duffty

Keanan Duffty was born in England and graduated from Central Saint Martin’s with a First Class BA in fashion and textile design. Duffty is a member of the Council of Fashion Designers of America, winner of the 2003 Fashion Group International Rising Star Award and a 2012 International Woolmark Award Finalist. In 2007 Duffty designed a 24 piece men’s collection in a direct collaboration with David Bowie. Bowie By Keanan Duffty was sold at 1200 Target stores throughout the USA.

Duffty established his eponymous collection in 1998. The collection was sold at premium international retailers including Barney’s New York, Bloomingdale's, Bergdorf Goodman, Harrods, Harvey Nichols, Lane Crawford, United Arrows and Beams until 2006.

Duffty has worked as a design director with many international brands including Ben Sherman, Gwen Stefani’s L.A.M.B, Reebok, Dr Martens and Gola. He currently is Global Design Director for Moods of Norway, Senior Director of Fashion Merchandising at the Academy of Art University in San Francisco and Contributing Fashion Editor to SOMA magazine.
