Brian Perry

Brian Perry travels globally consulting and instructing others on the benefits of server and desktop virtualization. He began his IT career soon after leaving the United States Marine Corps in 1993. In 2003, he identified server virtualization as the next huge wave in IT and helped to build a thriving virtualization business practice for his employer. In 2004, he attained his VCP certification and became one of the first contract instructors for VMware. In 2008, he helped start Virtual Umbrella with his two business partners, Chris Huss and Jeantet Fields. Today, Virtual Umbrella is the largest independent instructor broker on VMware technologies and continues to expand their service offerings into consulting and publications.

Brian has been married for over 23 years, has two children, two dogs and lives in rural Kentucky. His favorite hobbies are travel and golf.
