Dr. Wen-Ching Lin is a Senior Scientist at Zementis, Inc. She has many years of experience not only developing predictive models and representing them in PMML, but also working as an analytical software engineer for ADAPA, a PMML-based predictive decisioning platform developed by Zementis.
Prior to joining Zementis, she was responsible for designing machine learning algorithms for image processing and quality control in Taiwan. In academia, Dr. Lin conducted research in computational astrophysics. As an astrophysicist, she acquired extensive experience dealing with real-world data from complex physical systems. Dr. Lin worked for several years in the National Center for Supercomputing Application (NCSA) at Urbana-Champaign and at the San Diego Supercomputing Center (SDSC). As a researcher in these two supercomputing centers, Dr. Lin had the opportunity to work directly with massive data sets such as astronomical data from the Keck Observatory.
Dr. Lin holds a Ph.D. in Astrophysics from the University of Illinois, Urbana-Champaign.
