David Trotter

David Trotter is the founder and publisher of Awakened Magazine as well as the creator and curator of the Awakened Hearts book series. He is passionate about amplifying the voices of conscious leaders, healers, and coaches.

He is the author of a dozen books including Empowered to Rise and Superconscious Conversations and the producer / director of four award-winning feature films on important social issues.

Early in his career, he invested a decade of his life as a pastor before transitioning out of full-time ministry and experiencing the freedom of a more inclusive spirituality. David earned a BA in Pastoral Ministries and MA (abt) in Church Leadership from Vanguard University (Costa Mesa, CA) as well as an MA in Cross Cultural Studies from Fuller Theological Seminary (Pasadena, CA).

David is also Certified Breathwork and Guided Meditation Facilitator and regularly leads classes at Behind the Lids Healing Collective in Costa Mesa, CA.
