Sharon St. James

Sharon St. James admits to having a nomadic childhood but figures that’s why she aced geography in school and has such an appreciation for journeys of courage. Her adult life seems to have mirrored her childhood. In adulthood, she’s been single more years than she’s ever been married. And along the way, she’s had her share of truly memorable romances and a few not so much. Tucked away in her novels, she will sometimes share tidbits from these experiences. She is the mother of two grown children and is single after being widowed by the loss of her last husband. She’s found healing in the beauty of Northern California where she lives in the Sierra Nevada foothills with her black lab, works on her next novel, tends to her orange trees and tries out new recipes for desserts. Her latest find is an obscure recipe for southern-style Peach Cobbler, which she promises to include in a future novel. Hopefully she will also share her prize-winning recipe for Orange Marmalade.
