Scott Burnham

Scott Burnham, FRSA, is an author, entrepreneur, and consultant who provides strategies and tools for people, cities, and institutions to transform existing resources into platforms of possibility.

He is the founder of Reprogramming the City, a global initiative to help cities repurpose and reimagine the potential of existing urban assets and has created initiatives in over a dozen cities worldwide and has curated over 30 exhibitions in eight nations exploring new ideas in design, resilience, and resourceful innovation.

Burnham has addressed The World Bank, The MIPIM Global Mayor’s Think tank, The World Urban Development Congress, and many other organizations. He is the author of This Could, Six Steps for Resourceful Innovation, Reprogramming the City, How to Reprogram a City, NatureStructure, Design Hacking, and Trust Design, and contributes to numerous publications.
