John David Perron is the author of Frenz, a novel of the interaction between two young boys -- one mentally disabled -- in Oakland, CA in the mid-1940s. He received his Ph.D. in English and Language Education from the University of Indiana in 1974. He has taught English and Computer Education courses at Central Washington State, the University of Georgia, and San Francisco State University. His textbooks include Effective English and Computers & Information Systems (with H. L. Capron).
